Hi! My name is Kurt and I am the founder and owner of Kurt Malec Design + Consulting.
I am very lucky that I get to have my dream job; I work with companies of all sizes and industries to create their brand, get them seen and develop and focus their goals.
I have always been interested in what makes people buy certain products or respond to specific ads. As and Art mjaor in college, I helped form a Psychoanalytic Studies minor that allowed me to research the impetus behind an artists work to form theories of why he or she created the work they way he or she did - taking into account the era and social climate of each piece. How lucky am I that I still get to explore these themes in my work?
After years of working in-house at a Boston paper as an Art Director and a major European cosmetic company as Director of Marketing, I am excited to take my experience and knowledge and focus all my attention on Kurt Malec Design + Consulting. I have a great team to work with and we all are eager to help our clients succeed both on and offline.
I have spent my entire career working in marketing and graphic design and have literally done it all. From building ecommerce stores and websites from scratch to planning, designing and executing trade shows, I have seen all angles of the marketing world. Familiar with both the B2C and B2C markets, I know what makes people tick - and what makes them buy!
Probably my worst quality is that I get very passionate about what I think is right.
